Unify is building an AI-native outbound platform that pairs AI agents with sales representatives to transform how revenue teams work. The platform helps teams identify in-market buyers, enrich account data from 40+ sources, and execute personalized multi-channel outreach from a unified workspace. Customers report 90% time savings on list building and 19% higher output per rep. As an early Engineering Manager, you'll lead one of the core product pods at a pivotal growth moment. You'll manage and coach a high-performing engineering team while maintaining hands-on involvement in technical work. Your responsibilities include owning product delivery in collaboration with product and design, shipping customer-centered initiatives quickly and reliably, and continuously improving engineering systems—from planning and CI/CD to observability—to support rapid iteration and scaling. You'll participate actively in code reviews, design discussions, and incident response to stay connected to the craft. A significant part of your role involves building the team: recruiting, hiring, and onboarding top engineering talent as the organization grows 3x over the next 12 months. You'll also help establish the foundation for how the engineering org scales, including culture, processes, and standards of technical and operational excellence. The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of engineering experience with at least 3 years managing teams in fast-moving environments. You've built and led teams at early-stage startups, shipping high-quality software under tight feedback loops. You're a strong technical leader who sets high bars and inspires others to reach them. You thrive in high-autonomy, high-accountability environments and are energized by building from scratch. You're comfortable wearing multiple hats—recruiting, writing code, running retros, debugging production issues, shaping roadmaps. You care deeply about people and invest in their growth both technically and as teammates. You move fast, stay scrappy, and always prioritize impact. The tech stack includes TypeScript, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Kubernetes, Pulsar, ClickHouse, Temporal, and LLMs. Familiarity with these technologies is valuable, but the ability to learn quickly, lead with curiosity, and raise the bar is what matters most.
