As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a pod of 4+ engineers, balancing delivery of impactful projects with team development and career growth. You'll own hiring, onboarding, coaching, and continuous feedback for your team members. Your responsibilities include creating a high-trust environment where engineers take ownership and align on priorities, leading technical direction in collaboration with Staff Engineers and leadership, and ensuring scalable systems and clean architecture.
You'll partner closely with Product Managers to shape strategy and roadmaps, adapt priorities based on customer feedback, and deliver meaningful outcomes. The role emphasizes continuous improvement through architecture reviews, incident reviews, and peer mentorship. You'll promote a culture where the team considers the customer journey in all decisions and executes for impact rather than following rigid best practices.
The engineering organization uses a modern tech stack including TypeScript (end-to-end), React, GraphQL, Postgres, AWS, Docker, and Temporal.
