Tebi is a Connected Restaurant Management System founded by Arnout Schuijff (co-founder of Adyen) and backed by €50M from Index Ventures and CapitalG. The platform unifies Point-of-Sale, reservations, kitchen prep, payments, and analytics for thousands of restaurants, cafés, bars, and coffee shops across the Netherlands, UK, and beyond.
You will lead a senior team of mobile engineers building Tebi's core application in Kotlin Multiplatform. This role bridges leadership and hands-on engineering—you'll set technical direction while actively shipping features alongside your team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and growing a senior app engineering team while maintaining high quality standards
- Driving the app roadmap in partnership with product and design, translating business priorities into executable plans
- Making architecture decisions across native and cross-platform code, balancing velocity with maintainability
- Building strong engineering culture through mentoring, best practices, and cross-functional collaboration
- Managing day-to-day team operations: 1:1s, planning, hiring, performance feedback
- Actively contributing to the product roadmap by shipping features
You bring 7+ years as a mobile engineer with 2+ years in leadership roles. You have proven experience managing engineering teams in fast-moving product companies, strong technical depth in iOS, Android, or cross-platform development, and excellent communication skills to articulate technical trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You're comfortable with ambiguity and can set direction without perfect information.
Tebi offers startup equity, competitive salary, office lunch, team building events, and unlimited time off. Interviews begin after September 14, 2026.
