As an Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-talent, high-performance engineering team responsible for building enterprise-grade, resilient AI solutions. Your core responsibilities include building and scaling world-class teams through hiring, mentoring, and continuous development of exceptional engineers. You will drive measurable outcomes by ensuring every project directly contributes to Parloa's strategic goals and delivers customer value. You will raise the technical bar by partnering with Staff and Principal Engineers to drive architectural excellence, reliability, and pragmatic design. You'll foster a fearless culture that enables fast, decentralized decision-making and encourages experimentation while building trust through support in both successes and failures. Your role includes translating company strategy into clear objectives and measurable outcomes for your team, ensuring operational excellence in security, availability, quality, and performance. Cross-functional collaboration is essential—you'll partner with Product, Design, and Business leaders to align technical execution with product vision. You balance autonomy with accountability, empowering your teams while ensuring they deliver measurable impact. The ideal candidate has 8–12+ years in software engineering with 3–5+ years in people leadership, a proven track record delivering complex enterprise-grade systems at scale, and demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and retain world-class engineers. You are a strategic operator who can set vision and dive deep into technical details, a culture builder who models integrity and ownership, and skilled in scaling organizations through systems rather than bureaucracy.
