inDrive is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Grocery Marketplace Experience team, which builds the native Grocery and Food storefront within the inDrive super app across iOS, Android, and mobile backend-for-frontend platforms.
In this role, you will hire and lead a cross-functional engineering team of 8–9 engineers (iOS, Android, backend, QA), fostering their adaptation and career development. You will manage project planning, execution, and resource allocation to ensure high-quality, on-time software delivery. Close collaboration with stakeholders and peer teams will align engineering efforts with business goals. You will develop and optimize engineering processes, tools, and technologies in partnership with your team, build and nurture an internal developer community, and participate in external conferences to represent the organization.
You will oversee the use of core technologies including Golang, Kubernetes, and native iOS and Android development to ensure efficient development practices.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated experience in engineering management with a strong background in software development
- Solid understanding of system design, high-volume projects, server and client architecture, and development limitations
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities, with talent for explaining complex technical concepts
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and quality delivery
- Enthusiasm for new technologies and commitment to ongoing skill development and teamwork
- BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience working on Grocery, Marketplace, or other e-commerce products, with strong understanding of their business and technical challenges
- Experience managing mobile (iOS/Android) teams is a plus
