CertifyOS is building data infrastructure for modern healthcare, solving the problem of fragmented provider data through an API-first platform that automates provider licensing, enrollment, credentialing, and network monitoring. The company connects directly to hundreds of primary data sources to help healthcare organizations maintain accurate, compliant, and reliable provider networks at scale.
We are seeking an Engineering Manager or Senior Engineering Manager with strong product engineering background and deep technical understanding to lead high-performing engineering teams. This role combines people leadership, product development, technical strategy, architecture, and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering teams building scalable, reliable, customer-facing products
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted software development and AI engineering tools across teams
- Own engineering delivery for customer-facing products from discovery through launch and operation
- Make sound architectural decisions for complex, scalable systems
- Build, lead, and retain high-performing engineering teams
- Partner closely with Product and Design teams
- Engage with engineers at a technical level on modern full-stack, cloud-native, and distributed system architecture
Required Experience:
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with significant technical leadership
- 3+ years of engineering management or equivalent technical leadership
- Strong experience building and operating customer-facing products
- Deep product development background from discovery through launch
- Strong technical expertise: Java, Spring Boot, microservices, distributed systems, Kafka, PostgreSQL, NoSQL databases, AWS/GCP, React, APIs, event-driven architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD
- Strong understanding of observability, reliability, security, and production operations
- Practical understanding of AI/LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and AI agents
- Experience using or leading adoption of AI coding and engineering tools
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
- Ability to operate at both strategic and technical levels
