As Engineering Manager, you will lead and manage a talented team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performing environment. You'll provide guidance, mentorship, and support to drive delivery of high-quality software products that meet customer needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and managing a software engineering team with mentorship and guidance
- Collaborating with product managers and stakeholders to define project requirements, scope, and timelines
- Developing and executing project plans for on-time, on-budget delivery
- Fostering innovation, continuous learning, and best practices within the team
- Driving adoption of cloud computing best practices including infrastructure as code, automation, and CI/CD
- Ensuring adherence to security and compliance standards
- Monitoring cloud infrastructure performance, capacity, and costs for optimization opportunities
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, design, QA) to align engineering goals with business objectives
- Recruiting, hiring, and onboarding top engineering talent while building a diverse, inclusive team culture
Required qualifications include US citizenship, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role, strong technical background in software engineering principles, hands-on cloud computing experience (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), in-depth understanding of cloud architectures and services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), and strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration frameworks.
