Ledgy is a modern, tech-driven equity management and financial reporting platform for private and public companies, backed by leading investors including NEA and Sequoia. Founded in Switzerland in 2017, the company operates from offices in Zurich and London with a diverse international team of 26 nationalities.
As Engineering Manager of the Agent & Developer Platform, you will lead a team of 4–6 engineers building the infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and platform capabilities that power Ledgy's operations. This is a hands-on role where you'll shape how AI agents operate as first-class citizens alongside human engineers in the software development lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include:
**Team Leadership**: Direct management of platform engineers, setting technical direction, and fostering an environment where engineers do their best work.
**CI/CD & Developer Experience**: Owning build and deployment pipelines optimized for both human and AI-agent workflows. You'll design systems where agents can seamlessly open PRs, get reviewed, and ship code.
**Infrastructure & Observability**: Managing GCP infrastructure, Terraform configuration, monitoring, and alerting. You'll establish SLOs and ensure visibility into production systems, including agent activities.
**Security Partnership**: Collaborating with the CISO to define and execute security strategy for a regulated fintech serving enterprise clients. This includes supply chain security, access controls, and addressing new challenges from AI agents in production systems.
**AI Infrastructure & Agent Platform**: Building foundations for human and AI agent collaboration, including MCP interfaces, agent identity and access models, and sandbox environments for safe experimentation.
You'll report directly to the Head of Engineering and play a key role in scaling Ledgy's platform and engineering culture.
**Ideal Candidate Profile**:
- 3+ years of Engineering Management experience
- 6+ years as a Software Engineer with meaningful time in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps roles
- Deep expertise in CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure with strong opinions on pipeline optimization
- Security-minded approach to platform engineering, especially regarding AI agent access to production systems
- Hands-on technical skills: comfortable with Terraform, debugging pipelines, and shipping improvements
- Passionate about developing people and watching engineers grow
- Vision for modern platform engineering in an AI-agent-driven world
