Ledgy is a modern equity management and financial reporting platform for private and public companies, backed by NEA and Sequoia. Founded in Switzerland in 2017, the company operates from Zurich and London with a global team of 26 nationalities. You will lead a team of 4–6 platform engineers building the infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and security foundations that enable thousands of employees to experience equity ownership. This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering and AI—you'll architect systems where AI agents operate as first-class citizens alongside human engineers, contributing to code writing, testing, and deployment. Key responsibilities include: **Team Leadership:** Build and mentor a high-performing platform engineering team, set technical direction, and create an environment where engineers do their best work. **CI/CD & Developer Experience:** Own Ledgy's build and deployment pipelines. Make them fast, reliable, and optimized for both human and AI-agent workflows—including seamless PR review and shipping for agent-generated code. **Infrastructure & Observability:** Manage GCP infrastructure, Terraform configuration, monitoring, and alerting. Define SLOs and ensure production visibility, including agent actions in audit logs. **Security Partnership:** Work closely with the CISO to define and execute security strategy for a regulated fintech serving enterprise clients. Address supply chain security, access controls, and novel challenges from AI agents operating in production systems with access to sensitive financial data. **AI Infrastructure & Agent Platform:** Build foundations for human and AI agent collaboration, including MCP interfaces exposing the platform to AI tools, agent identity and access models, and sandbox environments for safe experimentation. The tech stack is modern and cohesive: TypeScript, React, Tailwind CSS, tRPC on frontend; Node.js, MongoDB, Temporal on backend; GCP and Terraform for infrastructure. You'll report directly to the Head of Engineering and play a key role in scaling platform and engineering culture. This is a hands-on role—you'll remain comfortable building with Terraform, debugging pipelines, and shipping improvements yourself while leveraging AI tools to multiply your output.
