Ledgy is a European equity management and financial reporting platform serving private and public companies, backed by NEA and Sequoia. You'll lead a team of 4–6 platform engineers building the infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and security foundations that enable thousands of employees to experience equity ownership. This role sits at the intersection of modern platform engineering and AI—you'll architect systems where AI agents operate as first-class citizens alongside human engineers, designing CI/CD workflows, observability, and security models that work seamlessly for both. You'll own team leadership and technical direction, setting the vision for how platform engineering evolves when agents write, test, and deploy code. You'll drive CI/CD and developer experience improvements—making pipelines fast, reliable, and agent-friendly. You'll manage Ledgy's GCP infrastructure, Terraform configuration, monitoring, and alerting, setting SLOs and ensuring production visibility including agent actions. You'll partner closely with the CISO to shape security strategy for a regulated fintech serving enterprise clients, translating security priorities into engineering reality. You'll also build AI infrastructure and agent platform foundations: MCP interfaces exposing the platform to AI tools, agent identity and access models distinguishing human from agent actions in audit logs, and sandbox environments for safe experimentation. This is hands-on: you'll remain comfortable building with Terraform, debugging pipelines, shipping improvements yourself, and actively using AI tools to multiply your output. You'll report directly to the Head of Engineering and play a key role in scaling platform and engineering culture. The tech stack is modern and cohesive: TypeScript, React, Tailwind, tRPC, Node.js, MongoDB, Temporal, and GCP. You thrive if you see platform engineering as one of the highest-leverage investments a company can make, especially as AI transforms software delivery. You bring 3+ years of engineering management experience and 6+ years as a software engineer, with meaningful time in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps roles. You love developing people, watching engineers grow, and have strong opinions about making systems scale.
