Ledgy is a modern equity management and financial reporting platform for private and public companies, backed by NEA and Sequoia. Founded in Switzerland in 2017, the company operates from Zurich and London with a global team of 26 nationalities.
You'll lead a team of 4–6 platform engineers building the infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, developer tooling, and security foundations that enable Ledgy's next chapter: a platform where AI agents operate as first-class citizens alongside human engineers. This is a hands-on role where you'll remain deeply technical while scaling the team and engineering culture.
Key responsibilities include:
**Team Leadership**: Direct management of platform engineers, setting technical direction, and fostering an environment where engineers do their best work.
**CI/CD & Developer Experience**: Own Ledgy's build and deployment pipelines, optimizing for speed, reliability, and seamless workflows for both humans and AI agents. This includes designing how agents can open PRs, get reviewed, and ship code.
**Infrastructure & Observability**: Manage GCP infrastructure, Terraform configuration, monitoring, and alerting. You'll define SLOs and ensure visibility into production systems, including agent activities.
**Security Partnership**: Work closely with the CISO to define and execute security strategy for a regulated fintech serving enterprise clients. Translate security requirements into engineering reality, addressing supply chain security, access controls, and new challenges from AI agents in production.
**AI Infrastructure & Agent Platform**: Build foundations enabling both humans and AI agents to operate effectively, including MCP interfaces, agent identity and access models, audit logging, and sandbox environments for safe experimentation.
The tech stack is modern and cohesive: TypeScript, React, Tailwind CSS, tRPC on frontend; Node.js, MongoDB, Temporal on backend; GCP infrastructure with Terraform.
You should have 3+ years of engineering management experience and 6+ years as a software engineer, with meaningful time in platform, infrastructure, or DevOps roles. You're excited about platform engineering as high-leverage investment, comfortable remaining hands-on with infrastructure-as-code and debugging, and eager to shape how AI agents integrate into software delivery and security models.
