In this Engineering Leadership role, you will drive technical vision and strategy for a widely scoped engineering organization. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional leaders in design and product management to shape the vision and strategy of the platform. Key responsibilities include:
• Lead and scale mid to large-sized engineering teams, managing team development, roadmap setting, and career growth for team members
• Drive engineering initiatives including architectural changes, hiring process improvements, and platform modernization
• Balance both platform and product-oriented thinking to deliver core platform products
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance in a fast-paced startup environment
• Work cross-functionally to bring together a suite of core platform products
• Own product strategy and customer-centric problem solving
You'll be responsible for building and scaling teams from the ground up, with a focus on quality delivery, transparent feedback, and intelligent delegation.
REQUIREMENTS:
• At least 15 years of software development and delivery experience with in-depth knowledge of software architectures
• At least 10 years of experience as an Engineering leader building, managing, and scaling mid to large-sized development teams
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent relevant experience
• Experience building large-scale software platforms
• Proven experience building products and teams from the ground up
• Proficiency in recruiting, organizing, and motivating engineering teams
• Strong team development skills: ability to set roadmaps and goals, delegate intelligently, provide engineering advice, deliver frequent feedback, and support career growth
• Excellent project management and product ownership mindset with customer-centric problem-solving orientation
