We are seeking an Engineering Lead with a strong Frontend background to lead a team of software engineers and drive the technical direction of our web experiences and platforms. This is a hands-on technical leadership role that combines frontend engineering, architecture, delivery, and people leadership. You will remain close to the technology while helping your team make sound technical decisions, build scalable and maintainable solutions, and deliver experiences that create meaningful business impact.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of software engineers
- Drive the technical direction of frontend platforms and web experiences
- Stay close to the code, contributing to architecture, technical design, and key engineering decisions
- Build scalable, performant, and maintainable solutions for high-volume user-facing products
- Partner with Product and Design to translate business needs into effective technical solutions
- Improve engineering efficiency through technical standards, tooling, and automation
- Drive continuous improvement in performance, quality, reliability, and developer experience
You will work closely with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to define priorities and continuously improve both our platforms and the way we build them.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong experience in Frontend Engineering and modern web technologies
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue, Svelte, Angular, or similar
- Previous experience as an Engineering Lead, Tech Lead, Lead Frontend Engineer, or similar role
- Strong understanding of frontend architecture, performance, and scalability
- Comfortable remaining hands-on and making technical and architectural decisions
- Experience mentoring engineers and supporting their professional development
- Strong communication skills and experience working closely with Product and Design
- Experience with high-traffic digital products or fast-growing technology companies is a plus
