River is seeking a System Validation Engineer to develop, plan, and execute Design Verification Plans (DVP) for vehicle components and full system validation. The role involves executing validation testing for electromechanical components such as electrical ABS assemblies and pressure sensors, and evaluating test results to verify compliance with defined acceptance criteria.
Key responsibilities include utilizing specialized test equipment, data acquisition devices, and associated analysis software to conduct comprehensive validation work. You will investigate and resolve data synchronization challenges between vehicle hardware and cloud backend systems, lead problem analysis, track resolution progress, and ensure execution of corrective actions. The role requires conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on component and system failures and relaying key findings to product and program teams. You will document and preserve comprehensive logs of all validation procedures, testing protocols, and outcomes.
This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong expertise in electrical system validation, component testing, and data analysis. You will work cross-functionally with product and program teams to ensure vehicle systems meet safety and performance standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or closely related discipline
- 3–4 years of professional experience in electrical system validation or equivalent role
- Solid understanding of electrical systems, manufacturing workflows, and safety compliance standards
- Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving/troubleshooting abilities
- Hands-on experience validating electromechanical components and working with cloud data analytics platforms
- Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (e.g., MATLAB, DIAdem, Vector tools)
- Familiarity with EMI/EMC testing, certification, and relevant industry testing standards (highly desirable)
- Proven track record of effective collaboration within cross-functional team environments
