We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer II to join our Engineering team in London. This is a senior individual contributor role focused on delivering essential IT services and medium-sized projects with minimal guidance. You will act as an owner-operator, taking accountability for systems within your area of responsibility while mentoring less experienced engineers. Key responsibilities include: - Independently design and deliver project-level work with deep technical ownership - Serve as a subject matter expert for our Workplace Technology stack, particularly Jira and Confluence administration and optimization - Provide advanced technical support and policy management for macOS and Windows endpoints using Jamf and Microsoft Intune - Deliver advanced operational support on team-owned services and train new team members on service design, security, and operations - Triage and support complex incident flows with urgency and accountability - Mentor junior engineers to raise technical quality across the team - Identify automation opportunities and implement solutions using Python or PowerShell to reduce operational complexity You should have 2–3+ years of IT Engineering or similar technical experience. Required expertise includes Identity Providers (Okta, Azure AD), SAML and SCIM protocols, and advanced Atlassian suite management including complex Jira configurations, workflow customizations, and permission schemes. You demonstrate logical troubleshooting, proactive ownership, effective stakeholder communication, and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
