Juvo is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to serve as a technical reference for their squad, leading architectural decisions, elevating code quality standards, and mentoring less experienced developers.
You will be responsible for designing and evolving distributed systems, ensuring scalability, resilience, and end-to-end performance across back-end (C#/.NET and NodeJS) and front-end (Flutter or React) layers.
BACK-END RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and ensure adherence to architectural design for APIs and microservices (C#/.NET Core, NodeJS), guaranteeing decoupling, observability, and resilience. Participate in evolving integration patterns between services (REST, messaging with RabbitMQ, event-driven architectures). Contribute to data modeling decisions in relational (Postgres) and non-relational databases, considering consistency, performance, and cost trade-offs. Implement and review testing strategies (unit, integration, contract, load testing) to increase coverage and reliability. Ensure security, authentication/authorization, and compliance in external system integrations. Support capacity planning, production troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of critical incidents.
FRONT-END RESPONSIBILITIES
Define and ensure adherence to front-end architecture patterns for Flutter (Dart) or React (TypeScript/JavaScript) applications. Guarantee performance, accessibility, and end-to-end UX, collaborating with design and product teams. Establish design systems, reusable components, and best practices for state management and REST API integration. Guide decisions between web and mobile (Android/iOS) based on product strategy.
TECHNICAL LEADERSHIP
Mentor junior and mid-level developers through constructive code reviews and knowledge-sharing sessions (tech talks, pair programming). Drive technical decisions, promoting alignment and living documentation. Actively participate in agile cycles (planning, refinement, daily standups, reviews), influencing estimates and technical prioritization. Identify and propose process and architecture improvements. Serve as the technical reference point for the squad. Help define and evolve the platform's technical roadmap.
WORK ARRANGEMENT
Fully remote; 9 AM–6 PM, Monday–Friday (Brazil time).
