As Engagement Manager for Pharma & Life Sciences, you will be the primary trusted advisor for a portfolio of large pharmaceutical customers navigating AI search programs. You'll own the complete customer journey from onboarding through measurable outcomes, serving as the bridge between what large language models actually do and what regulated organizations can act on.
Key responsibilities include: serving as primary point of contact for enterprise pharma customers; owning implementation, adoption, and outcomes; partnering with brand, commercial, digital, and compliance teams; navigating medical, legal, and regulatory (MLR) review processes; advising on how AI engines surface efficacy, safety, and access information; working with customers and product teams on accuracy of therapy representation; shaping AI search landscape for pipeline and pre-launch therapies; accounting for distinct search behavior of HCPs, patients, and caregivers; interfacing with medical affairs and scientific communications teams; translating enterprise strategy into market-ready programs across global markets; conducting strategic business reviews; managing multi-threaded customer relationships; partnering with Account Management on expansion; collaborating internally with Sales, Product, and Engineering; and codifying pharma best practices into playbooks and points of view.
You bring 5+ years of enterprise customer success, account management, consulting, or agency experience. Deep pharma or life sciences background is essential—you've worked inside a manufacturer, healthcare agency, or vendor serving pharma. You're fluent in pharma commercial marketing including brand launches, lifecycle management, HCP/DTC campaigns, and omnichannel engagement. You have direct hands-on experience with MLR review cycles and compliant content workflows, understanding promotional guardrails including fair balance and on-label communication. You understand medical affairs, scientific communications, and the promotional/non-promotional content distinction. Strong presentation and communication skills for both marketing and scientific audiences required. Self-motivated with passion for building customer relationships.
