Valence is an AI-native coaching platform for enterprise leadership development, working with Fortune 500 companies including Coca-Cola, Nestlé, General Mills, Prudential, and others. As an Engagement Manager, you'll be responsible for building and growing strategic client partnerships across all leadership levels, from C-suite to executives. You'll lead the consultative deployment of Valence's generative AI coaching tools within enterprise accounts, translating client goals into high-impact, scalable programs. Your core responsibilities include owning the renewal and expansion process, consistently meeting or exceeding revenue, usage, and expansion targets within your portfolio. You'll embed deeply within client organizations to become a programmatic partner, helping them unlock measurable value through clear use cases and behavior change initiatives. You'll champion the adoption of Valence's platform by guiding clients through a consultative methodology, aligning the solution with their most pressing priorities. You'll partner closely with the Sales team during pre-sale and pilot phases to shape solutions that convert interest into long-term engagement. Additionally, you'll oversee contracting and invoicing, working with Operations to ensure a seamless client experience. As a client voice in product evolution, you'll offer insights that help shape the roadmap and improve user experience. You'll stay current in the evolving generative AI landscape, building working fluency in AI, trust & ethics in machine learning, and your clients' industries. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience in top-tier consulting, investment banking, or fast-paced, high-growth startups. You possess exceptional client-facing skills with a proven ability to build trust and drive outcomes with senior stakeholders. You excel at structured problem-solving, breaking down complex challenges and crafting solutions that drive results. You demonstrate proven influence and execution ability, partnering effectively with busy executives while maintaining momentum across work streams in fast-changing environments. Strong operational instincts, excellent written and verbal communication, and comfort with data analysis (especially Excel) are essential. You're self-motivated, solutions-oriented, and energized by challenges, moving quickly without getting discouraged by roadblocks. You have a growth mindset and actively seek feedback.
