Join Apple's Advanced Technology Group as an Emulation Verification Engineer, playing a critical role in the verification of large Wireless SoCs. You will be at the center of chip design efforts, collaborating across disciplines to bring groundbreaking products to millions of customers. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing up emulation platforms for large Wireless SoCs, utilizing industry-standard tools like Palladium. You'll develop sophisticated monitors and checkers for the emulation platform, implementing the latest techniques to achieve better performance and efficiency. Your work will involve porting designs onto the Palladium platform and executing detailed emulation test plans. Key responsibilities include preparing and executing comprehensive test plans, performing cross-functional reviews with Design, Architecture, Power, Silicon Validation, Performance, and Software teams. You'll develop verification code using Verilog, SystemVerilog, and UVM methodologies to support emulation activities. Your analytical and debugging skills will be essential as you troubleshoot complex issues and optimize emulation environments. You'll need a BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of hands-on experience in emulation bring-up, debugging, and verification. Proficiency with standard emulators (Palladium, Veloce, Zebu) or FPGA flows (Xilinx, Altera) is required. Strong SystemVerilog/Verilog design verification skills, experience with UVM verification environments including C/C++ DPI, and Python/TCL scripting are essential.
