Salary: USD 166,000 - 220,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join the Manufacturing Test organization. In this role, you will develop and maintain test executive software that systematically validates products across land, sea, and air platforms. You will work on complex, multiplatform problems with heavy reliance on cloud data systems, focusing on automation, throughput optimization, and data analytics.
Key responsibilities include developing applications for Windows and Linux desktop environments, integrating cloud data and deployment features while maintaining security and authentication, generating automation scripts in Python for debug and prototype development, triaging issues and coordinating root cause analysis, and partnering with end-users to translate needs into features while balancing user experience with engineering constraints.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, 4+ years of relevant industry experience, and eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Preferred qualifications include 8+ years of industry experience, expertise in Python development, experience with low-level code and device libraries/drivers, CI/CD and DevOps automation, multi-disciplinary project work with electrical/mechanical/manufacturing engineers, automated testing (unit, integration, system-level), git version control, manufacturing or industrial software experience, knowledge of device communication protocols (USB, SPI, I2C, CAN, RS232, RS485, Ethernet), WPF and C# desktop application development, embedded systems experience, and proficiency with RESTful services in AWS/Azure infrastructure. Database experience (relational or NoSQL) and test automation tools are also valued.
