Anduril Industries is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Engineer to join the Battlespace Awareness Radar team in Fort Collins, Colorado. This role focuses on developing state-of-the-art radar systems for U.S. and allied military capabilities. You will own the mechanical and thermal aspects of hardware design from initial requirements through full production. Key responsibilities include designing mechanical systems that integrate complex thermal solutions, RF hardware, PCBAs, and cabling. You'll prototype rapidly to identify issues early and deliver products on compressed timelines, while supporting customer-facing hardware demonstrations and incorporating feedback into design iterations. The role requires close collaboration with interdisciplinary technical teams including electrical engineers, software engineers, and manufacturing engineers. You'll travel to test sites as needed to support validation and customer engagement. Required qualifications include 2+ years of professional mechanical design experience, proficiency in CAD (any platform) with ability to produce high-quality engineering drawings, demonstrated hands-on fabrication skills, and strong command of engineering first principles. You must have experience integrating PCBAs and electronics into mechanical systems, hold a BSME, MS, or PhD in a related engineering field, and be eligible to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. Preferred qualifications include experience with NX/Teamcenter, passive and active thermal management design, EMI constraint design, manufacturing methods (CNC machining, sheet metal, injection molding, 3D printing), and cross-functional collaboration with electrical and software engineers.
