Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to ensure rigorous testing and quality assurance of advanced defense technology systems. In this role, you will own test activities across the manufacturing value stream, from system-level checkouts to component-level validation. You'll maintain and develop test automation software, create clear work instructions for technician teams, and build troubleshooting guides for common failure modes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage production test flow and provide hands-on troubleshooting for complex infrared and electro-optical systems
- Develop and maintain test automation, data analytics, and report generation software
- Conduct root cause analysis on product failures and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering teams on customer returns and failure analysis
- Contribute to early-stage test design for new products (NPI)
- Analyze test data and provide detailed reports identifying defects and improvement opportunities
- Optimize test strategies for efficiency while maintaining quality standards
- Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure precision and reliability
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across testing processes
You'll work on fast-paced, highly technical, interdisciplinary teams integrating electrical, opto-mechanical, and software/firmware systems. The role requires strong communication skills to resolve issues quickly across teams and drive product quality improvements.
