As an Electrical Integration and Test (EI&T) Engineer II, you will be a core member of the EI&T team responsible for planning and executing integration and test activities from board-level through system-level campaigns. You will implement the full engineering development cycle to ensure spacecraft readiness prior to launch, reporting to the Electrical I&T Lead Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct integration and testing of flight and non-flight electrical systems at component, subsystem, and spacecraft levels
- Write comprehensive test plans and procedures to verify functionality of spacecraft components and subsystems, including guidance/navigation/control (GNC), RF communications, power distribution, thermal control, and propulsion systems
- Automate test execution and data collection using Python, LabVIEW, and related software tools
- Lead electrical test campaigns by running test readiness reviews, anomaly response teams, and post-test reviews
- Design electrical test fixtures and ground support equipment for component and system-level testing
- Coordinate with outside test facilities to plan and perform off-site testing, providing on-location support during execution
- Collaborate with payload teams to define interface requirements and ensure successful integration of all electrical systems
- Work closely with Systems Engineers, Design Engineers, and Program Management to ensure I&T activities deliver a flight-certified spacecraft
- Ensure safety of equipment and personnel during integration processes
Required Qualifications:

- Experience writing, debugging, and executing scripts in Python or similar programming language
- Operational knowledge of common electrical test equipment (bench power supplies, digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, data acquisition systems)
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams with electrical, mechanical, and software engineers
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience testing safety-critical hardware and software systems
- Experience reviewing and modifying technical drawings using Altium or similar electronic design software
- Experience with environmental testing campaigns (thermal vacuum, EMI/EMC, vibration testing) and knowledge of MIL-STD or NASA GEVS standards
- Experience designing electrical test fixtures or ground support equipment
- Experience with spacecraft/satellite integration and test campaigns
- Knowledge of avionics manufacturing processes (PCB assembly, harness fabrication, inspection)
- Adaptability to startup environment with ability to self-start with minimal guidance
- Experience in 100K or ISO8 class cleanroom environments
- IPC-A-610 or IPC-A-620 certification
