Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Imaging team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems combining hardware and software to address critical security challenges, leveraging computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor fusion technologies. As an Electrical Hardware Engineer, you will design and develop advanced electronics for airborne EO/IR (electro-optical/infrared) systems. Your responsibilities include designing sensor electronics, aircraft interfaces, and power management subsystems. You'll contribute to the full lifecycle of electronics development—from initial design through hands-on testing and integration. Key responsibilities: - Design, develop, and test electronics for airborne EO/IR systems, including sensor electronics, aircraft interfaces, and power management - Support systems engineering teams in defining requirements based on physics-based models of sensor and system performance - Collaborate on PCB layouts with the electrical engineering team - Participate in system testing at laboratory, ground, and flight test levels, analyzing data and providing feedback - Troubleshoot and test electronic components and subsystems to ensure optimal performance - Work with technical leads and project teams on system integration - Document test results, designs, and processes for technical records Required qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering with focus on system-level design, development, and testing - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent - Hands-on experience with analog and digital electronics design, testing, and troubleshooting - Laboratory skills including experiment setup and execution - Proficiency with PCB design tools and methodologies - Strong problem-solving and detail-oriented approach - Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary engineering teams - Eligibility to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance Preferred qualifications include experience with sensor or communication systems (RF, EO/IR, optical), familiarity with MATLAB, Python, or C++, and understanding of system integration in aerospace or defense environments.
