Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Imaging team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems across hardware and software, leveraging computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data to support warfighters and allies.
As an Electrical Hardware Engineer on the Imaging team, you will design and develop advanced electronics for airborne EO/IR (electro-optical/infrared) systems. Your responsibilities include designing sensor electronics, aircraft interfaces, and power management systems; supporting systems engineering teams in defining requirements based on physics-based models; assisting with PCB layout design in collaboration with the electrical engineering team; participating in system testing at laboratory, ground, and flight test levels with detailed data analysis; conducting troubleshooting and testing of electronic components and subsystems; working closely with technical leads on system integration; and documenting test results, designs, and processes.
This is a hands-on role with significant collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and integration of cutting-edge technologies in defense applications.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, focusing on system-level design, development, and testing
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Experience with analog and digital electronics design, testing, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in laboratory skills, including setting up and running experiments
- Familiarity with PCB design tools and methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills with detail-oriented mindset
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience in sensor or communication systems, such as RF, EO/IR, or optical technologies
- Familiarity with analytical tools and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C++
- Understanding of system integration processes and workflows in aerospace or defense environments
