Salary: USD 98,000 - 171,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Maneuver Dominance team develops aerial robotic systems designed to operate in large coordinated teams alongside ground maneuver forces, with a focus on perception, autonomy, and command and control (C2) systems. As an Electrical Engineer on this team, you will own core product development of portable C2 systems, including integration with ground and air vehicles. This is a hands-on role requiring high ownership and frequent cross-functional collaboration with mechanical, software, and systems engineers. Key responsibilities include: executing rapid evaluation of engineering concepts across multiple disciplines; performing trade studies and physics-based analysis of complex problems; designing, implementing, and testing electro-mechanical systems; leading design reviews and vendor evaluations; defining and executing hardware test plans; building and iterating on prototypes; analyzing failures and transitioning successful projects to production; supporting customer hardware demonstrations; and traveling to test sites as needed. Required qualifications: experience in immersive technical projects (collegiate or professional); strong understanding of low and high voltage power electronics and control systems; ability to perform power system and electrical loading analysis, simulation, and testing; high competence with lab test equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMMs, analyzers); familiarity with battery and UPS systems and high/low voltage safety; ability to read and manipulate schematics and wiring diagrams; strong command of engineering first principles; BS/MS/PhD in engineering or equivalent; eligibility for U.S. Secret security clearance. Preferred qualifications include: aircraft subsystem layout and architectural trade study experience; thermal and electrical analysis competency; hands-on prototyping skills (soldering, board assembly, harnessing); strong leadership and interpersonal skills; experience designing for rugged environments; integration of electrical and mechanical subsystems onto air vehicles; experience with UAVs, wearables, firearms, electric propulsion, or optical systems; circuit characterization at schematic and board level; familiarity with MIL-STD requirements (1275, 461, 810, DTL-38999).
