True Anomaly is building autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors to secure the space environment and counter threats. As an Electrical Engineer II for Power Systems, you will design, analyze, test, and integrate electrical power systems for complex space missions.
Key responsibilities include:
• Design and analyze electrical power systems (EPS) for spacecraft, including solar arrays, batteries, and power distribution units
• Perform modeling, simulation, and on-orbit analysis for power generation and storage
• Create and review technical documentation, including specifications, interface control drawings, test procedures, and design reviews
• Conduct thermal analysis and power budget analysis for spacecraft systems
• Perform component selection and trade studies for power system architectures
• Support integration and test activities, including hardware-in-the-loop testing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including structures, thermal, and mission design engineers
• Ensure compliance with space industry standards and best practices
