Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Tactical Recon & Strike team develops aerial small drones (Group 1-3) and all supporting equipment for testing, deployment, and operations. Products include Ghost, Anvil, Bolt, and Altius systems, powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system for real-time 3D command and control.
As an Electrical Engineer, you will design embedded control electronics from concept to production, including hardware selection, schematic and PCB design, board bring-up, system-level integration, and flight testing. You'll troubleshoot issues spanning electrical and software boundaries, using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, DMMs, etc.) and software debugging tools. Close collaboration with electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and test engineers is essential to deliver fully functional products in a fast-paced environment supporting new developments, active deployments, and customer-operated hardware.
Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering; 3+ years designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex embedded systems; demonstrated experience with mixed-signal circuit design; competence with test equipment and automation; proficiency with Altium Designer or equivalent EDA tools; lab-based prototyping and R&D experience; U.S. Person status for export-controlled data access.
Preferred: Embedded software/firmware proficiency (C/Linux); familiarity with git, Github, JIRA; experience in safety-critical environments; background with extreme-environment products (automotive, aerospace, defense); knowledge of embedded software protocols (timers, interrupts, SPI, ADCs).
