Re:Build Manufacturing, through its Answer Engineering division, is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to design and develop electrical and electronic systems for aerospace platforms, including electric vertical take-off (EVTOL) aircraft and space tourism vehicles.
You will own the full lifecycle of electrical system development: building and analyzing power distribution systems, creating schematics and wiring diagrams, designing PCB layouts, and developing system architectures for UAVs and advanced aerospace applications. Your responsibilities include circuit analysis and simulation, verification of avionics interfaces, failure analysis and troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with aerospace standards. You will collaborate across mechanical, software, and systems engineering teams to solve complex multidisciplinary problems.
The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of hands-on experience in power distribution systems, avionics interfaces, drone avionics, control electronics, and wire harnesses. You should be proficient with oscilloscopes and soldering, with demonstrated expertise in Altium and Solidworks (preferred). RF experience and IPC 620 certification are valued. A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required; a Master's degree is preferred. You must be comfortable working on military and DoD projects and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where you contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in design reviews.
