Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology. The Imaging team develops state-of-the-art imaging systems across hardware and software, leveraging computer vision, perception, electro-optical, infrared, and sensor data to provide warfighters and allies with critical advantages. As an Electrical Engineer on the Imaging team, you will design and develop advanced electronics for airborne EO/IR (electro-optical/infrared) systems. Your work will focus on sensor electronics, aircraft interfaces, and power management, with hands-on involvement in testing and cross-functional collaboration to ensure optimal performance and integration of cutting-edge technologies. Key responsibilities include: - Design, develop, and test electronics for airborne EO/IR systems, including sensor electronics, aircraft interfaces, and power management - Support systems engineering teams in defining and refining requirements based on physics-based models of sensor and system performance - Assist in PCB layout design in collaboration with the electrical engineering team - Participate in system testing at laboratory, ground, and flight test levels, providing detailed data analysis and feedback - Conduct troubleshooting and testing of electronic components and subsystems to ensure optimal performance - Work closely with technical leads and project teams to support system integration efforts - Document test results, system designs, and processes to maintain thorough technical records REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, focusing on system-level design, development, and testing - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent - Experience with analog and digital electronics design, testing, and troubleshooting - Proficiency in laboratory skills, including setting up and running experiments - Familiarity with PCB design tools and methodologies - Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset - Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary engineering team - Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience in sensor or communication systems, such as RF, EO/IR, or optical technologies - Familiarity with analytical tools and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, or C++ - Understanding of system integration processes and workflows in aerospace or defense environments
