Halo Industries, founded in 2014 at Stanford University, has developed breakthrough laser-based technology to revolutionize semiconductor material-slicing processes. The company minimizes waste, enhances material cost efficiency, and serves high-growth markets including automotive, telecommunications, and power electronics. Following significant funding in 2024, Halo is expanding rapidly and launching volume manufacturing.
As Documentation Control and Change Management Specialist, you will maintain the integrity and accuracy of product documentation while managing efficient change implementation. You will process documents under change control, guide stakeholders through change processes (ECO, PLM), and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role collaborates closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory teams throughout the product lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining document control procedures compliant with industry standards and regulatory requirements; processing documents under change control including Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Deviations; guiding stakeholders through change management with training and support on ECO and PLM systems; maintaining accurate records of all change control activities for traceability and auditability; collaborating with cross-functional teams on timely change implementation; identifying and implementing process improvements; and staying current with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Success milestones: Within 3 months, gain thorough understanding of Halo's processes and demonstrate proficiency in Arena PLM and Confluence while building stakeholder relationships. Within 6 months, identify and implement process improvements, provide training and support to stakeholders, and ensure regulatory compliance. Within 12 months, develop and track KPIs for document control activities, lead continuous improvement initiatives, and mentor junior team members.
REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Writing, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in document control and change management within a regulated industry, preferably semiconductor or automotive
- Experience with Arena PLM and Confluence
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of document control and change management principles and best practices
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with IATF 16949
