In this Channel Development Manager role based in Seoul, you will lead the management and enablement of Channel Partners within the Cohesity Partner Ecosystem. Your primary responsibilities include building and executing account and partner plans, strategically growing the pipeline, and managing the conversion process to drive bookings and achieve growth targets.
Key responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with partners to drive bookings and ensure excellent customer experiences
- Identify, recruit, and develop new partners to expand sales and service capabilities
- Forecast partner pipeline conversion in coordination with sales teams
- Develop and lead sales strategy and business plans for assigned partner/distribution accounts
- Enable partner sales and technical teams aligned with go-to-market plans and partner program requirements
- Track partner performance and identify action plans to address enablement, engagement, pipeline, and bookings gaps
- Develop selling and services opportunities within partner organizations, penetrating new divisions
- Coordinate marketing activities and leverage Cohesity resources to optimize ROI
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of proven channel management experience with strong quota achievement
- Extensive experience growing top Distribution Managed Partners through distributors
- Experience collaborating with diverse teams on marketing coordination and ROI optimization
- Excellent presentation skills for technical and business audiences
- Ability to work independently and remotely with strong work ethic
- Willingness to travel exceeding 50%
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools for productivity and decision-making
The role requires working from the Seoul office with hybrid flexibility for those within reasonable commute distance (45-minute average travel time), with in-office expectations of 2-3 days per week.
