As Distinguished Engineer / Technical Fellow, you will serve as the primary architect of Armada's long-term technical vision. This is a builder-leader role requiring deep expertise in data center architecture, high-density compute, and massive-scale AI infrastructure. You will solve the most difficult technical challenges across the core product suite while leading R&D for next-horizon projects, including Data Centers in Space. Key responsibilities include architecting the Armada Edge Platform (AEP) for seamless orchestration across globally distributed environments; driving the architectural roadmap for orbital compute initiatives, including adaptation for Low Earth Orbit challenges (radiation tolerance, thermal management, power-constrained processing); collaborating with strategic industry partners to co-design deep-tech solutions; defining the 3–5 year technical roadmap with company leadership; serving as the final escalation point for complex architectural problems involving real-time data streaming and network-aware workload distribution; leading proof-of-concepts for next-generation capabilities such as in-orbit inference and secure Earth-to-space data orchestration; and mentoring Staff and Principal engineers to elevate the entire engineering organization.
Required: 15+ years of software engineering experience with a proven track record as a Distinguished Engineer or Fellow. Core infrastructure mastery including data center operations, CPU/GPU/NPU compute architectures, and AI infrastructure at scale. You should understand the full stack from silicon to orchestration layers.
