Click Therapeutics develops and commercializes digital therapeutics—FDA-regulated prescription software treatments delivered via smartphone for patients with unmet medical needs. The Director/Senior Director, Science is a strategic scientific leadership role that bridges innovation, product development, clinical evidence, and commercial strategy. This person serves as a key scientific representative for Click, driving external scientific communications and enabling business development partnerships.
Key responsibilities include:
**Scientific Communications & External Leadership:**
- Lead the writing and publication of peer-reviewed papers, white papers, and clinical data presentations
- Represent Click at external scientific, medical, and industry conferences
- Build and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), clinicians, and academic researchers
- Translate complex clinical data into compelling scientific narratives for external audiences
**Business Development Enablement:**
- Provide scientific and medical credibility to business development efforts
- Partner with commercial and BD teams to evaluate partnership opportunities
- Support strategic growth initiatives through scientific expertise
**Product & Scientific Strategy:**
- Act as a scientific subject matter expert across Click's product pipeline
- Support clinical evidence generation and regulatory strategy
- Contribute to scientific strategy and roadmap development
The ideal candidate holds an MD or PhD with a strong academic publication record. You are action-oriented, flexible, and comfortable operating in a lean, fast-paced environment. You can seamlessly pivot across multiple products and therapeutic areas while maintaining scientific rigor.
The role is based in Click's Tribeca headquarters (NYC), the Boston workspace, or remote, with a hybrid model requiring at least 4 days in office per week.
