NeueHealth is seeking a Director of Value Based Programs to lead strategy and operations for the company's value-based care initiatives. Reporting to the VP of Government Programs and Business Development, this Director will manage a diverse portfolio including program evaluation, application writing, market analyses, policy updates, and stakeholder presentations. Key responsibilities include setting NeueHealth's strategy for value-based care initiatives such as Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and CMS/CMMI alternative payment models. The Director will serve as a subject matter expert on CMS alternative payment models, value-based care transformation, and population health management strategies. This includes benefit enhancements, beneficiary engagement incentives, and specialist integration. The role involves developing and delivering executive-level presentations, strategic recommendations, and stakeholder communications regarding program performance, market opportunities, and regulatory developments. The Director will evaluate and pursue participation in new CMS and CMMI innovation models, conducting strategic assessments, financial analyses, and operational readiness evaluations. Additional responsibilities include leading development of model applications and responses to Requests for Applications (RFAs), overseeing program implementation for Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP), LEAD, AHEAD, and other government-sponsored value-based care initiatives. The Director will monitor federal healthcare policy and CMS rulemaking, maintaining relationships with trade associations and translating regulatory changes into actionable business strategies. The role requires conducting market research and competitive analyses to identify growth opportunities and emerging trends. Cross-functional collaboration with clinical, actuarial, finance, operations, network management, analytics, compliance, legal, and practice transformation teams is essential for successful program execution. This position includes supervisory responsibilities and experience managing remote teams is required. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in economics, business, public health, healthcare administration, or related field (MBA, MHA, or MPP preferred). 7+ years of professional experience in healthcare consulting, policy, value-based care program management, or internal strategy is required, with prior experience in CMS models such as MSSP or ACO REACH preferred.
