Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Director of Systems Support and Training to lead the Production Technology (ProdTech) organization's support and enablement functions. This role owns the end-to-end support model for mission-critical enterprise production systems, including Tier 1/2/3 escalation paths, triage workflows, and on-call rotations. You will establish and track operational SLAs (First Response Time, Time to Resolution, System Availability) to prevent production floor bottlenecks and build robust feedback loops between frontline support tickets and the engineering/product roadmap. You will build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team responsible for training and adoption of new systems across the organization. Key responsibilities include architecting comprehensive, role-based training programs and certifications for shop-floor operators, manufacturing engineers, and supply chain teams. You will design and execute change management plans for system rollouts, migrations, and major software releases, implementing modern learning tools and digital adoption platforms that keep pace with rapid, continuous software deployment. Cross-functional collaboration is central to the role. You will partner deeply with Factory Operations, Quality, Central IT, and Software Engineering to align tooling with real-world operational workflows, serve as the executive escalation point for production-blocking software issues, and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement across teams. You will manage budgets, resources, and staffing while promoting cross-functional collaboration across engineering teams. Anduril's Lattice OS is an AI-powered operating system that transforms thousands of data streams into a real-time, 3D command and control center. The company is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years. REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years in software, systems, or manufacturing engineering, including 3+ years leading engineering teams, with experience managing managers or clear readiness to do so - Demonstrated ownership of enterprise production systems at scale (MES, ERP, MRP, WMS, PLM, or equivalent), including the integration layer between them - Strong systems architecture judgment: data modeling, systems of record vs. application layer, integration patterns, and the ability to articulate what belongs where and why - Direct experience delivering software into a live manufacturing environment, with accountability for it after go-live - Track record of operating across functional boundaries (manufacturing, supply chain, planning) and being trusted by central IT/platform engineering counterparts - Ability to hold a technical position under pressure from senior stakeholders and to change it when the argument is better PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Experience standing up or scaling an internal engineering function inside a manufacturing or industrial company (hiring, leveling, building technical bar from scratch) - Hands-on background with Oracle ERP and modern application/platform stacks built above it - Experience with platform models: exposing APIs and extension surfaces to internal builders, and associated governance (certification, support tiers, deprecation) - Applied automation, ML, or agent-based workflow experience in an operational setting, including identity and auditability considerations - High-rate or high-mix manufacturing, defense production, or regulated environments experience
