Salary: USD 159,939 - 211,120 / annual

WelbeHealth is seeking a Director, Strategy to lead key components of its Phase 3 expansion by developing strategy for a portfolio of priority new states. This role combines strategic thinking with cross-functional leadership, partnering with Government Affairs, Operations, Real Estate, Marketing, and executive leaders to translate complex market, policy, and competitive insights into actionable expansion strategies. Day-to-day responsibilities include: - Lead strategy development for priority expansion states, identifying and advancing growth opportunities into new markets - Translate market analyses and insights from the Strategic Analytics team into clear recommendations for new state entry and geographic prioritization - Develop state-specific market entry strategies, including target regions, sequencing, and expansion pathways - Monitor policy developments, regulatory changes, and competitive activity affecting expansion opportunities - Coordinate cross-functional efforts across Strategy, Applications, Real Estate, Government Affairs, Marketing, Outreach and Enrollment, Network, and Operations teams - Partner closely with Government Affairs to support policy strategy, advocacy planning, and stakeholder engagement with state and local policymakers - Produce data-driven briefing materials, talking points, and strategic insights for meetings with regulators, policymakers, and external stakeholders - Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and potential partners in priority markets - Support preparation for future RFP opportunities by shaping market positioning and strategic recommendations Required qualifications: - Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) - Minimum 6 years of corporate strategy or management consulting experience - Minimum 3 years of healthcare industry experience; PACE organization experience preferred - Expert proficiency with Microsoft products, especially Excel and PowerPoint - Excellent organizational and communication skills with executive leaders - 2+ years of supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop team members - Experience leading in a data-driven organization, leveraging reports and data to prioritize and manage people and projects WelbeHealth serves vulnerable seniors through the PACE model and offers competitive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, 17 days PTO, 12 holidays, 6 sick days, and 401(k) match.
