Ramp is seeking a Director of Product Finance & FP&A to lead two critical functions as the company scales toward IPO. You will own unit economics and monetization strategy across Ramp's product portfolio, working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Sales to drive pricing decisions and evaluate new product investments. Simultaneously, you'll manage corporate FP&A, owning Ramp's consolidated financial model, leading headcount and non-payroll budgeting across the organization, and building executive-level financial reporting and analyses for Board and leadership decision-making.
Key responsibilities include: developing and maintaining unit economics models for every product line; driving pricing and monetization strategy in partnership with Product and executive leadership; structuring creative commercial arrangements for strategic deals; evaluating new product investments and business cases; leading company-wide headcount planning with People and GTM leadership; managing non-payroll budgeting across Engineering, Procurement, and executive teams; building and overseeing financial reporting infrastructure; and owning FP&A's systems and tooling roadmap.
You'll need 8+ years in investment banking, management consulting, private equity, strategic finance, FP&A, or related finance roles at high-growth tech companies. Strong financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and data skills are essential. You must demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, a "get things done" mentality, and the ability to communicate complex financial analyses clearly to cross-functional stakeholders and executives. Experience managing and mentoring high-performing teams is a plus. Proven track record using AI and automation tools (e.g., Claude Code) to streamline financial workflows is valued.
