Delinea is seeking a Director of Software Development Engineering to lead engineering teams responsible for governance solutions on the Delinea Platform and Fastpath Assure. This is a remote position reporting directly to the VP of Software Development Engineering.
In this role, you will lead and mentor engineering teams responsible for identity governance and administration (IGA) solutions. You'll oversee development and implementation strategy for key capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives while maintaining technical quality and scalability. Your responsibilities include identifying and mitigating technical risks, hiring and performance management, and collaborating with engineering leaders and product managers to define technical scope for major initiatives.
You'll drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes, staying current with industry trends and security best practices. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of successfully managing Agile teams.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; 5+ years managing Agile Sprint teams; and 8+ years of professional software development experience. You should have excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with engineers, stakeholders, and senior management.
Desirable experience includes Identity Governance and Administration (IGA), application access governance, segregation of duties (SoD) for ERP and business applications, and familiarity with emerging security technologies.
