Bevi is a venture-backed IoT-enabled beverage technology company on a mission to transform how beverages are delivered and consumed. The company has raised over $160M, serves thousands of customers across the US, Canada, UK and Ireland, and has saved over 1 billion bottles from waste. Bevi is rapidly growing and heavily investing in new product development. You will lead Bevi's central Program Management Office (PMO), which runs new product introduction (NPI) programs from concept to launch. The PMO team includes five program managers and sits within Operations, reporting to the COO. This is both a leadership and hands-on role. Key responsibilities include: **Lead the PMO:** Lead, coach and develop a team of program managers running complex, cross-functional hardware programs. Set the standard for how Bevi executes NPI programs and hold the team accountable. Own Bevi's phase gate process, ensuring each gate results in clear go/no-go/recycle decisions with open items tracked and owned. **Run programs well:** Lead by example by taking on NPI programs directly while building the team. Establish aggressive, credible schedules updated weekly that the team believes in. Name risks early, assign owners, and track inputs that drive them (drawings, test results, decisions, supplier dates). Base status on evidence (test data, released drawings, placed POs) rather than verbal updates. Raise issues before dates are missed, with options. Get the right people in the room for decisions and log them. Report program status to leadership and the Board. **Work across the company:** Partner with Product, Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Service and Sales to ensure programs launch at target quality, cost and supply readiness. Work with leadership and Product on portfolio priorities, making resource and schedule tradeoffs visible. Manage programs involving contract manufacturers and design partners, including those in Asia. **Improve PMO efficiency:** Keep core teams small and meetings focused on decisions and issues. Move program information to a single system of record so status is updated once and every report pulls from it. Use automation and AI to reduce time PMs spend compiling updates. Run post-program reviews and use learnings to improve the playbook. **Requirements:** - 10+ years in program management, including at least 5 years leading a team of program managers - Track record of taking connected hardware products through EVT, DVT, PVT and production launch, with experience across electro-mechanical, firmware and app components - Experience with consumer, commercial or appliance-type hardware products - Experience working with contract manufacturers on new product launches - Comfort setting aggressive schedules and running them with discipline: risk tracking, evidence-based status and early escalation - Clear, direct communication with executives and cross-functional teams **Preferred:** - Experience with contract manufacturers or ODM partners in Asia - Startup or high-growth company experience - Experience building or rebuilding a PMO, including phase gate processes and portfolio reporting - Familiarity with Agile methods for firmware and software work - Engineering or technical degree
