Salary: USD 220,000 - 292,000 / annual

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Director of Product Sourcing Engineering to lead supply chain strategy and execution for advanced military systems. This role manages a team of sourcing engineers and subcontract managers, serving as the central point of contact for all supply chain needs across product development. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing supply chain strategies aligned with business goals, focusing on supply continuity, quality, efficiency, and cost optimization while enabling significant business scaling. You will build and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate complex commercial terms directly with suppliers to establish best-in-class pricing, quality, flexibility, delivery, and service terms. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional leadership teams including engineering, program management, finance, and business lines to negotiate tradeoffs, solicit cooperation, and resolve problems proactively. You will identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs, define key performance indicators to track supply chain health, and monitor KPIs to provide regular performance reports to management. Leadership responsibilities include building and managing a team of supply chain professionals, providing guidance and training, and hiring world-class talent to support rapid team expansion. You will proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks, such as disruptions or market condition changes. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field; 10+ years in fast-paced manufacturing environments with supply chain or production focus on complex mechanical/electrical assembly; 5+ years in leadership positions; strong communication skills across organizational levels; ability to travel up to 20%; eligibility to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance. Preferred qualifications include MBA or Master's degree in supply chain or engineering; experience in defense, aerospace, automotive, or high-tech industries; proven leadership driving large teams; and strong team collaboration skills.
