This is a visible, customer-facing portfolio leadership role for a decisive self-starter who combines strategic and technical depth with exceptional executive presence. The Director will shape Forescout's cyber-physical security offerings, which protect critical infrastructure across IT, OT, IoT, and IoMT environments. The role spans device and asset intelligence, user and machine identity, network context and control, exposure management, threat defense, policy, segmentation, and enforcement. Key Responsibilities: - Translate company priorities, market opportunities, and customer problems into investment themes, outcome-based roadmaps, and sequenced plans for protecting cyber-physical systems. - Establish transparent line of sight from funding and capacity decisions to roadmap commitments, delivery milestones, customer value, and business impact. - Drive customer journeys and capabilities that unify device and asset intelligence, user and machine identity, network context and control across IT, OT, IoT, and IoMT. - Meet regularly with customers, prospects, partners, and field leaders to understand how devices, identities, networks, and physical operations intersect; translate insights into scalable priorities. - Frame prioritization decisions using customer impact, strategic fit, revenue potential, risk, cost, evidence, dependencies, and time to value. - Build coherent plans with clear outcomes, ownership, dependencies, milestones, decision points, and measures of success. - Own outcomes across the entire customer experience, from discovery and evaluation through deployment, integration, operations, adoption, renewal, and expansion. - Deliver persuasive customer briefings, roadmap presentations, demonstrations, and executive reviews. - Define success metrics, inspect adoption and business performance, and use evidence to guide roadmap adjustments. - Partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Marketing, Customer Success, and Services leadership to align positioning, demand creation, and launch plans with product strategy. - Provide strong direction across multiple engineering teams, establish clear outcomes and priorities, resolve ambiguity and dependencies, and hold teams accountable. - Coach product managers and strengthen operating mechanisms for discovery, planning, execution, and follow-through. The Director will lead through influence across Product, Engineering, Architecture, UX, Product Marketing, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Services. This leader must command a room, communicate complex ideas with clarity and conviction, think quickly under pressure, and build credibility with customers, field teams, technical leaders, and executives. Requirements: - 3+ years of product management experience, including leadership of complex enterprise cybersecurity, networking, infrastructure, or platform initiatives. - Demonstrated success connecting portfolio strategy and investment decisions to roadmaps, execution plans, launches, adoption, and measurable outcomes. - Strong knowledge of cyber-physical systems security across IT, OT, IoT, and IoMT, with the ability to assess cyber risk through device and asset, user and machine identity, network, and physical-process perspectives. - Experience with adjacent capabilities such as NAC, Zero Trust, segmentation, asset intelligence, exposure management, policy, threat defense, and enforcement. - Experience leading across enterprise IT and cyber-physical environments, including on-premises, cloud, hybrid, industrial, connected-device, and medical-device architectures. - Understanding of the distinct availability, safety, resilience, lifecycle, and change-control requirements of operational environments. - Proven ability to lead ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives involving multiple products, engineering teams, stakeholders, and dependencies. - Strong customer discovery, market analysis, and competitive strategy skills. - Business and financial acumen, including ability to reason about investment, opportunity size, monetization, cost, sequencing, and tradeoffs. - Excellent written and verbal communication with a track record of simplifying complex topics. - High ownership, urgency, and follow-through. - Experience developing and mentoring product managers and improving product operating practices. - Cyber-physical security fluency and ability to engage credibly with enterprise security, industrial operations, clinical technology, architecture, engineering, and customer technical teams. - Structured problem-solving and data-driven decision-making capabilities. - Strong working knowledge of connected-device and asset discovery, classification, posture, behavior, and lifecycle; user, workload, and machine identity; and network architectures, protocols, access controls, segmentation, and enforcement. - Deep familiarity with security architectures for IT, OT, IoT, and IoMT, including industrial control systems, building systems, connected and medical devices, operational protocols, remote access, asset intelligence, exposure management, Zero Trust, threat detection, and incident-response workflows. - Practical understanding of on-premises, public cloud, SaaS, virtualized, containerized, edge, and hybrid architectures. - Ability to evaluate REST APIs, data models, event-driven integrations, identity services, connectors, and extensibility frameworks. - Understanding of device, identity, network, security, operational, and product telemetry; data quality, normalization, correlation, behavioral baselines, observability, and reporting. - Solid grasp of modern software development practices, agile planning, CI/CD, DevSecOps, testing, release management, technical debt, reliability, performance, scalability, and secure-by-design principles. - Working knowledge of machine learning, generative AI, large language models, agentic workflows, and automation. - Hands-on technical credibility and comfort reviewing diagrams, requirements, API specifications, logs, dashboards, demonstrations, and prototypes.
