Diligent Market Intelligence is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the strategy, roadmap, and evolution of Stewardship Intelligence—a core data product serving institutional asset managers, stewardship and governance professionals, compensation advisers, consultants, and corporate issuers. Stewardship Intelligence provides meeting, executive compensation, corporate governance, and proxy-voting intelligence.
In this role, you will report to the VP of Product and own both Product Management and Research functions. You will be responsible for:
• Owning and continuously refining the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and prioritization for the Stewardship Intelligence portfolio, covering meeting, executive compensation, corporate governance, and proxy-voting intelligence.
• Leading, developing, and organizing the Product Management and Research teams. You will establish clear priorities, effective ways of working (with emphasis on AI integration where possible), strong collaboration, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
• Improving dataset coverage, methodology, quality, traceability, and timeliness using process redesign, automation, and AI-enabled approaches without compromising accuracy or trust.
• Partnering closely with Engineering and UX to define, build, and launch high-quality product experiences and Data-as-a-Service capabilities that make stewardship intelligence easy to find, understand, and use.
• Building deep understanding of customer needs across institutional asset managers, stewardship and governance professionals, compensation advisers, consultants, and corporate issuers. You will use customer research, market insight, and product data to guide decisions.
This is a domain-led role requiring substantial experience in stewardship, proxy voting, corporate governance, executive compensation, investor relations, or a closely related capital-markets domain.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Substantial experience in stewardship, proxy voting, corporate governance, executive compensation, investor relations, or a closely related capital-markets domain (required)
- Experience leading and developing product management and research teams
- Ability to translate customer and market needs into clear product priorities
- Experience with process redesign, automation, and AI-enabled approaches
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to partner with Engineering and UX teams
