Ramp is building smart infrastructure for finance teams, automating how over $200B in annualized spend flows through 70,000+ companies. The company handles payment authorization, risk flagging, spend categorization, and financial close processes. You will serve as the senior commercial owner of Ramp's partner ecosystem in the UK, reporting to the VP of Channel Sales. This is a founder-level role building the partnerships function from the ground up in London. You will develop Ramp's UK partnership strategy, create executive-level relationships across the ecosystem, and establish repeatable routes to revenue that drive market entry and long-term growth. Key responsibilities include: - Owning and executing Ramp's UK partnerships strategy, identifying partner categories (accounting firms, PE/VC, consulting, financial institutions, technology partners) that accelerate awareness, pipeline, and market position - Building and maintaining senior relationships across the UK ecosystem - Working alongside UK Channel Partner Managers to align ecosystem strategy with dedicated motions - Developing focused partnership plans for priority relationships with clear joint value propositions and commercial paths - Generating measurable commercial impact through pipeline sourcing, warm customer introductions, and strategic deal support - Representing Ramp at executive meetings, industry events, and partner forums to build credibility and reputation - Serving as the internal voice of the UK partner market, translating relationship intelligence and market dynamics into actionable input for Sales, Product, Marketing, and leadership - Building operating cadence including account plans, partnership scorecards, executive briefs, and pipeline visibility - Shaping Ramp's broader UK and European go-to-market strategy as the business scales This role requires someone entrepreneurial and commercially sharp, comfortable creating clarity from ambiguity. You will move from first meetings with senior executives to clear points of view, internal plans, and disciplined execution. Requirements: - 10+ years of experience in sales, partnerships, business development, alliances, or go-to-market leadership with demonstrated record of building senior relationships and driving commercial outcomes - Proven track record of owning revenue, quota, influenced pipeline, or similar concrete commercial goals in complex B2B environments - Executive presence and sound judgment to earn credibility with senior partner leaders and represent Ramp confidently in consequential conversations - Builder mindset with experience launching territories, verticals, business lines, or partner motions from a blank page - Ability to turn broad relationships into specific opportunities, navigate multiple stakeholders, and maintain momentum through long sales cycles - Strong strategic and analytical thinking to decide where Ramp should invest and make data-informed cases to senior leadership - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to build compelling partnership narratives and align cross-functional teams - AI fluency as a daily habit; instinctively reach for AI before manual work - Ability to work five days per week from Ramp's London office with willingness to travel across UK and continental Europe Nice to haves: - Experience selling or partnering into private equity, financial services, consulting, enterprise technology, or high-growth software - Experience in fintech, financial software, payments, spend management, or CFO technology ecosystem - Established UK network of senior commercial, investment, operating, or technology leaders - Experience building new markets or international go-to-market motions - Fluency in additional European languages
