EVERSANA is a global commercialization services company serving the life sciences industry with over 7,000 employees and 650+ clients ranging from biotech startups to established pharmaceutical companies. This Director of Training role leads the design, development, and implementation of training programs for pharmaceutical sales teams. You will be responsible for creating advanced learning programs focused on clinical acumen, skill development, strategic partnerships, and account management to improve field team effectiveness. Key responsibilities include: • Design and develop training materials for current and future pharmaceutical products • Establish learning and development objectives that translate strategy into actionable behaviors for high-performing commercial field teams • Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional departments (marketing, operations, market access, HR, IT) to support new hire onboarding and ongoing skill development • Deploy learning programs across multiple channels: onboarding, home study curricula, live/virtual training, regional meetings, and national sales meetings • Assess knowledge gaps within field teams and develop targeted training initiatives • Evaluate competency levels of training participants and provide detailed feedback • Ensure all training activities and materials comply with regulatory and legal requirements • Partner with sales, medical/clinical, legal, and regulatory teams to develop and deliver training • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and distance learning technology platforms • Oversee vendor selection, content development, and deployment • Conduct presentation skills training for speakers in collaboration with medical and commercial teams • Participate in research to enhance future training materials • Travel approximately 50% based on client training needs You will work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment managing multi-component programs from concept to completion. The role requires strong collaboration across the organization and a strategic, creative mindset. REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor's degree required • Minimum 3+ years as a successful pharmaceutical or medical equipment sales representative • Minimum 6+ years in a national sales training department with curriculum development and delivery experience • Mandatory: previous experience in a pharmaceutical training environment • Mandatory: previous experience in a pharmaceutical sales environment with exposure to training • Experience supporting all aspects of detailed, multi-component programs from concept to completion in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments • Product launch experience or major new indication launch experience (preferred) • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills • Proven track record developing and executing successful training programs • High computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office and related business/communication tools • Familiarity with traditional and modern training processes and adult learning principles • Working knowledge of instructional design • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Strategic and creative mindset • Meticulous attention to detail
