Salary: CAD 160,000 - 200,000 / annual

As Director of Strategic Partnerships, you will serve as the primary executive relationship owner for Via's most complex, high-value city and agency partners. You will own a portfolio of strategic accounts and act as a trusted advisor to senior partner leadership, translating their community needs and strategic priorities into revenue opportunities and service outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning a portfolio of complex, high-value partner relationships and serving as the primary point of contact for executive city and agency leadership
- Acting as a strategic peer and trusted advisor to senior partner stakeholders, identifying opportunities for service growth and revenue generation
- Building and stewarding long-term partnerships grounded in service performance data and evidence-based decision-making
- Leading multi-year, highly complex contract renewals and service expansions, navigating high-stakes negotiations to drive year-on-year revenue growth
- Championing new products and capabilities internally, influencing Via's product roadmap to facilitate partner service expansion
- Translating complex, politically sensitive situations into opportunities to deepen trust and strengthen partnerships
You will work within Via's Partner Success team, a collaborative group of talented professionals passionate about improving public transit. The role requires frequent interaction with senior government and agency executives, with a focus on building durable relationships that drive measurable business outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 10+ years of relevant work experience in a client-facing role, with a proven track record of independently owning and growing strategic accounts at the most senior levels
- Fluency in both French and English (required for frequent client interaction)
- Strong quantitative and data analysis skills; ability to use complex data sets to drive strategic decisions and influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
- Entrepreneurial relationship-building capability with the ability to bring clarity and confidence to highly complex, politically sensitive situations
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to shape how things are done and set standards others aspire to
- Natural leadership presence whose judgment, presence, and way of operating raises the quality of work and people around them
