Salary: CAD 160,000 - 200,000 / annual

Via is a transportation technology platform that powers modern public transit networks globally. The company partners with hundreds of cities and agencies to transform outdated transit systems into smart, data-driven digital networks. As Director of Strategic Partnerships, you will own a portfolio of complex, high-value partner relationships and serve as the primary point of contact for executive city and agency leadership. You'll act as a trusted strategic advisor to senior partners, translating their community needs into revenue opportunities and shaping service outcomes. Your responsibilities include: • Managing a portfolio of strategic, high-value partnerships with cities and transit agencies • Serving as the primary executive-level contact and strategic peer to senior partner leadership • Building long-term relationships and identifying opportunities for service growth and revenue expansion • Using service performance data to inform strategic direction for each partnership • Leading complex, multi-year contract renewals and service expansions with high-stakes negotiations • Driving year-on-year revenue growth across your portfolio • Championing new products internally and advocating for partners to expand service scope • Influencing Via's product roadmap based on partner needs and market opportunities You will work within a collaborative Partner Success team focused on improving public transit outcomes. The role requires independent judgment, executive presence, and the ability to navigate politically sensitive situations while building trust with senior stakeholders both internally and externally. REQUIREMENTS: • 10+ years of relevant work experience in a client-facing role • Proven track record of owning and growing strategic accounts independently at senior levels • Fluency in both French and English (required for frequent client interaction) • Strong quantitative and data analysis skills; ability to use complex datasets to drive strategic decisions • Entrepreneurial mindset with exceptional relationship-building capabilities • Self-starter who shapes organizational practices and sets standards for others • Natural leader with strong judgment, presence, and ability to elevate team quality
