Salary: USD 215,000 - 250,000 / annual

HallPass Candy, part of the Medici Brands portfolio (alongside David), is building next-generation candy with reduced calories at competitive pricing. The company recently launched nationwide at Walmart and is led by Peter Rahal (Cofounder and Former CEO of RXBAR) and Michael Tierney (Founder and Former CEO of Stuffed Puffs). HallPass is reimagining the candy category by proving that better nutrition doesn't require sacrificing taste or price. You will build and scale the Convenience Channel from the ground up as Director of Sales. This is an entrepreneurial, hands-on role combining strategic account development with direct sales execution. You will identify and pursue new accounts, develop relationships with buyers and distributors, and own the full customer lifecycle from initial outreach through launch and ongoing growth. Key responsibilities include: - Identifying, prospecting, pitching, and closing new accounts to expand HallPass distribution - Building strong relationships with buyers, distributors, brokers, and key partners within the convenience channel - Owning customer relationships from initial outreach through launch and account management - Developing account strategies to drive distribution, velocity, and sales growth - Leading buyer meetings, presentations, line reviews, and negotiations - Partnering with customers on assortment, merchandising, promotions, and programs that drive trial and repeat purchase - Monitoring account performance and using sales data to identify opportunities and address issues - Owning forecasting for accounts and communicating expected demand, opportunities, and risks internally - Partnering with Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance teams to launch and support accounts - Representing HallPass at trade shows, distributor meetings, customer events, and industry events - Staying close to the channel to identify emerging customers, competitive activity, and new opportunities - Helping develop sales processes, tools, and playbooks to support scaling The role is full-time, in-office in New York City, with five days per week onsite. REQUIREMENTS: - Experience in CPG sales, account management, business development, or related commercial role - Experience and relationships within the Convenience channel - Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills - Strong commercial judgment and understanding of drivers behind successful CPG accounts - Comfortable using sales and account data to understand performance and make decisions - Comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where processes are still being built - Collaborative, self-driven, competitive mindset with excitement to build something from the ground up
