Electrified Thermal Solutions is building the Joule Hive™, a thermal battery technology that converts and stores renewable electricity as high-temperature heat to electrify industrial processes. The company aims to deploy this technology across furnaces, boilers, kilns, and turbines to mitigate gigatons of CO2 emissions annually.
As Director of Project Delivery, Europe, you will lead the deployment of Joule Hive Thermal Batteries across the European continent, reporting directly to the VP of Engineering. You will play a key role in scaling deployment capabilities to support company growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ensure projects are delivered to customer satisfaction
- Develop and implement strategy to engage with Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC) partners to support project deliveries
- Develop and build out the project deployment team of project managers, engineers, and technicians to support parallel deployments
- Collaborate closely with Business Development and Application teams to evaluate project feasibility early on
- Engage directly with project customers, including traveling to sites, to ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle
You will manage a growing team across Europe, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and oversee the execution of large-scale industrial equipment deployments. The role requires balancing customer satisfaction, team development, and operational excellence while navigating European regulatory and permitting landscapes.
REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 10 years of experience deploying large-scale industrial equipment across multiple industries in different European countries
- Strong project management experience
- Demonstrated experience working with industrial customers and deploying equipment on their sites
- Demonstrated experience building out and managing project delivery teams
- Experience with codes, standards, and permitting processes in Europe
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, team-oriented, and adaptable
- Ability to devise creative solutions while maintaining focus on defined scope and timeline
