1Password is seeking a Director of Product, AI Growth to lead the company's expansion into artificial intelligence opportunities. Reporting to the Senior Director of Product, you will own the complete growth strategy for 1Password's AI business, from identifying target customer segments and desired outcomes to proving viability with design customers and scaling through go-to-market and partnerships. Key responsibilities include: GROWTH STRATEGY: Develop and refine the growth thesis for 1Password's AI opportunities, covering target customer segments, delivered outcomes, and embedded workflows. Form and test hypotheses using customer feedback, product usage data, partner input, and market research. Lead weekly business reviews synthesizing customer voice, field feedback, and product telemetry to refine targets, forecast roadmap impact, and prioritize adoption blockers. Identify and drive resolution of customer adoption barriers with the product team. DESIGN CUSTOMER PROGRAM: Run the design customer program for new AI opportunities, acting as the general contractor accountable for each customer's deployment and outcome delivery. Coordinate solutions engineering, customer success, and product managers. Turn program learnings into repeatable signals—customer evidence, deployment patterns, and measured outcomes—that the go-to-market and channel teams use to build scalable sales plays. PARTNERSHIPS: Determine 1Password's optimal position in the customer's AI stack for securing agent access. Identify and pursue partnerships that enable end-to-end customer outcomes. Work with partners on integrations and identify repeatable patterns. Collaborate with business development on commercial structures that grow both companies' business. SCALE: Work with product enablement to build demos and enablement content for the field and channel partners. Partner with developer relations to grow adoption organically through reference architectures, sample code, and open source contributions. Travel to design customer sites, partner meetings, and industry events approximately 10–20% annually. REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 8 years of product management experience, including carrying a revenue or adoption target; preference for security products, agentic products, or developer tools experience - Experience owning strategy for a new product area or market entry, taking it from hypothesis to production customers - Experience working directly with enterprise customers on technical deployments as the accountable person, and converting deployments into repeatable sales motions - Experience building technology partnerships and integrations; ability to judge where a product sits in a larger ecosystem and work with business development on commercial terms - Technical depth to credibly discuss how AI agents are built, deployed, and given access to systems - Demonstrated ability to build alignment across go-to-market and engineering teams without direct authority - Demonstrated ability to make decisions and move work forward with incomplete information in fast-changing markets - End-to-end ownership, including work that falls between teams - Works AI-first: uses agents in daily work and applies judgment to decisions, product taste, and relationships - Preferred: familiarity with agentic access products (products that give AI agents credentials and system access)
